Blog

It all started back in 2006. I was on the wrong path. Failing out of college, hanging out with all the wrong people, looking for love and happiness in all the wrong places. Then, a series of events including a near death/outer body experience would alter my perception of reality forever... From there I would begin a new path. One that was enchanted and guided by spirit, synchronicity, and intuitive knowing. Twelve years later, I am ready to embrace this intuititve path more completely than ever. Thank you for joining me for the ride!

Meditative Guidance: Why this Website Exists

41600001.jpg

Last night during my evening meditation practice I had a profound experience. It was as if the spirit of joy and happiness was passing through me. I found myself having a hard time keeping myself from giggling. I had a smile from ear to ear and felt a surge of the most charming sensation throughout my being. In my head over and over again I found myself repeated  (without intention) "Living Intuitively".

Once I got out of meditation I let myself just simmer for a minute...

It was funny to have had such a lovely experience because to be honest, I was actually trying to avoid my second trying to avoid my second meditation yesterday! I had only finally committed to sitting and meditating after I found myself tense and anxious in part due to coming across the first page of my notebook, where I realized a few months back I had written the following...

Goals:
-Start book
-Complete 1 blog post per week
-Keep apartment clean and organized
-Yoga/Exercise 3x per week
-Get published
-Eat Healthier
-Stay Healthier
-Earn $1000 per week

Let go's:
-Fear of other's judgements
-Excess weight
-Anxiety about the future
-Stress

Remembers:
-Just for today, I will let go of anger
-Just for today, I will let go of fear
-Just for today, I will be thankful for my many blessings
-Just for today, I will do my work honestly
-Just for today, I will be kind to everyone I meet

In the moments before and after my meditation I realized that I had been subconsciously working on this list without even knowing it. For example, I had just spent the day cleaning and organizing my belongings, I was on day 2 of 30 Day Whole Foods Reset program for my health, I had plans to buy a class card for a new yoga studio this week and although I am not making $1000 a week at the moment, I was feeling pretty at peace with my finances. What I wasn't working on though was my creative passions which were my book and blog!

I am very excited for this new ride!!!

With love & light,
